Hello and welcome! I’m Catherine, the owner of Belle & Josie. I’m based in beautiful Aberdeenshire, and I absolutely love sewing and creating beautiful things for the home.

At Belle & Josie, I work with the gorgeous Sophie Allport fabrics to make a variety of home accessories—from notebooks and doorstops to draught excluders, lampshades, and more. Every piece is made with care and a love for color, pattern, and practicality.

The name Belle & Josie comes from my two wonderful children, Annabelle and Josephine, who inspire a lot of my creativity. When I’m not sewing, you’ll usually find me enjoying a cup of tea, walking my dog Dexter, or cycling around the stunning Aberdeenshire countryside.

On this blog, I’ll be sharing occasional updates about the business, as well as tips, ideas, and inspiration for home accessories, fabric choices, and styling your space. I hope you’ll enjoy stopping by and find a little spark of inspiration for your own home.
